Capturing images, moments of life, a snapshot of what is happening here and now has never been easier, or our audience has never been wider, than today with the advent of social media. Cameras at the ready… Day 4 of DCAF is all about equipping you with digital camera or smart phone in hand to capture the moments you want to remember.

DCAF PHOTO WALK is just that… a planned walk through our fab city capturing images along the way in keeping with the direction you receive at the INPUT Session at the start of the Walk! Here one of our DCAF TEAM will inspire your eye to look for and capture more, highlighting current apps & you take it from there.

Photos taken during the photowalk can be uploaded and entered into our SmartPhone Photo Comp! You then have the opportunity to have your work shown at our FILM REEL event that evening.

For all you budding movie makers out there… sign up  today for our Smart phone Movie Competition. Your brief for the competition will be given on Tuesday 29th Oct at 1pm on our website, you then will have 24hrs to make and submit your  60 seconds long Smartphone Movie!

Appropriate Movies entered in the competition will be shown at our FILM REEL: Photography & Film Showcase on Wednesday 30th Oct.
